Today, USMU is a modern, dynamic institution that provides high-quality education and research opportunities in medicine, dentistry, pediatrics, and pharmacy. The university has more than 7,000 students and employs over 1,300 academic staff, including over 600 professors and associate professors. USMU is accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, and its programs are recognized internationally.
The Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Pediatrics, the Faculty of Dentistry, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of International Students, and the Faculty of Continuing Medical Education. Each faculty has several departments, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, surgery, and many others.
USMU is also home to several research institutes, including the Institute of Medical and Social Problems, the Institute of Clinical Immunology, and the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology. These institutes conduct cutting-edge research in a range of areas, including infectious diseases, oncology, genetics, and pharmacology.
USMU offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs in medicine, dentistry, pediatrics, and pharmacy. The university also offers postgraduate training in various medical specialties, including surgery, cardiology, pediatrics, and radiology.
